A Perfect Match Headband

A perfect match headband I wrote to be a pair with “A Cozy Scarf for a Cold Day”. This is another easy pattern to make in a day. The two paired together can easily be made in a weekend. This is great for gifts or a brand new lease on life to feel that your crochet skills are great when you have hit a stalemate.

Embellishments

The headband is absolutely adorable and I added several buttons to embellish the headband. the buttons I must say, complete the look. The buttons may be simple but, they create a cute school girl look. Imagine wool coat and A Perfect Match Headband with some booklets heading to write a final. Another idea I had was to add plastic bobbles or knit bobbles. I think there are so many ways to run with these embellishment ideas to give A Perfect Match Headband any type of vibe that you are vibing to.

Hook 8mm

Col A 6 weight chunky yarn

Col B 4 weight worsted yarn

Chain 25

Row 1-4 SC, turn.

Seam together. Add Embellishments. In the picture three corresponding coloured buttons were used.

This trifecta of winter gear, is cute and quirky. As I said earlier the scarf and headband are classy, but adding the Crocodile Mittens makes the trio a cutesy feel. Depending on the outfit feel or person you are gifting this too one, two or all three may be the best combination.

I enjoy versatility and I think that is why these three patterns I wrote stick out to me and will for many years to come.
